I have always loved the country lifestyle and have always be jealous of those who get to live it. I was raised in a suburb and now live in the city with my hubby . Nonetheless, we both have always had the dream to live on a ranch growing our own produce and having lots of children and animals. It appears that we both want this so badly that we have decided to pursue it. Maybe not on a big scale, like going out and purchasing a piece of land, but definitely on a small scale by starting to change our clothing and home decorations .
My husband and I have wanted to buy Ariat riding boots since we went to Colorado and got to go horse back riding. Every person out there was wearing these boots and spoke nothing but wonderful things about them. So we finally each bought a pair as a gift to one another . My boots have a tiny bit of color on them, but my husband’s boots are just plain brown. He doesn’t enjoy standing out as much as I do. What he does not know is that I covertly ordered each of us Resistol hats. I believe he is going to love it!
As I mentioned before, we have begun to change our house decorations as well to reflect a more country lifestyle. We painted all of the rooms in our house in warm earth tones. I also invested in getting a lot of wooden decor . So far I am loving how my house is turning out . I can’t wait to complete the transformation. What I really can’t wait for is to have a lot of children that will be able to help my husband and I run the ranch , whenver we buy it that is. I also cannot wait to buy a horse, because horses are not only my favorite animal but I’ll need one to get around on my perfect farm . It will be amazing !
