Dolls houses can actually be o lot of fun for your little girls. These can also be very useful toys, where you and your child can bond, laugh and play together. When I was still a kid, I used to own 5 dollhouses that my daddy built for me. I was so happy and satisfied then, and it was always very fun to play with those. And my fascination for dollhouses carried on to my two daughters who are now asking me their nth dollhouse and all those dollhouse accessories .
I have been an avid fan of dollhouses for as long as I can remember, and as a matter of fact, our house was copied from one of my dollhouse collections. I luckily married an architect, who is also giving in to my whims and what-nots. Just about last week, my husband built a Victorian-inspired dollhouse complete with its accessories as a gift for our anniversary. I was so thrilled that I cried tears joy. That’s how child-like I am, and I’m just so glad my husband loves me for who I am. I immediately played with my two little princesses, and we have never shared so much laughter before.

Wood is always best instead of plastics, basing from my experience. I’m lucky, I have two little girls who share a common passion for dollhouses and dollhouse accessories, so I’m sure my dollhouse collections will be much appreciated and supported. Though I have a son, he doesn’t wreck his little sister’s house just to annoy, I’m lucky he loves his sisters so much that he just let them play with their stuff without annoying them, or making fun of them. Anyway, he helps his dad in building those, so those dollhouses have a soft spot on his heart.
